Warby Parker is a transformative fashion brand offering designer eyewear at a revolutionary price while leading the way for socially-conscious businesses.

Launched as a collaboration between four friends, the company was conceived as a way to offer consumers an alternative to today's overpriced (and bland) eyewear. The aesthetic is vintage-inspired with a contemporary twist; each pair is designed in-house and crafted from custom acetate or Japanese titanium.

Along with crafting beautiful (and affordable) eyewear, doing good is a part of our company's DNA: for every pair of glasses sold, a pair is distributed to someone in need. Perhaps most important, we’re all about giving our customers an extraordinary shopping and ownership experience. As an optician, your role will be to create an amazing in-person eyewear shopping experience, infusing every customer interaction with friendliness, expertise, and honesty.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
•Take and record measurements with flawless accuracy; adjust and fit eyewear as needed
•Ensure that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
•Demonstrate exceptional product knowledge
•Be comfortable explaining eyewear prescription terminology to customers
•Knock socks off left and right with stellar customer service
•Communicate Warby Parker’s values and brand philosophy to customers
•Provide style consulting and assist customers in choosing the very best glasses for their needs
•Make customers feel welcome and happy at our store
