Santinelli International, a respected leader and well-recognized distributor in the optical industry, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Services Technician to cover the Mid-Atlantic Region. To qualify you must possess 3 years of electro-mechanical experience and you must be able to travel extensively. Optical industry experience with lens processing equipment is a major plus.

Essential job functions will include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)

Install, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical equipment.
Provide high quality client support by responding to client needs in a timely and professional manner.
Provide verbal, written and on-site technical support to clients.
Provide verbal and written technical support to clients over the phone.
Perform remedial and preventive maintenance on equipment.
Submit weekly paperwork, maintain personal warehouse inventory and support documentation.
Improve knowledge of the optical industry by attending company training programs, industry seminars and self-study.

Requirements:

Excellent technical troubleshooting aptitude
Superior verbal, written and organizational skills
Strong computer skills a must including MS Office
Must have a valid driver’s license & personal automobile (we will provide a car allowance)
Must have a personal credit (not debit) card (we reimburse all business related expenses on a weekly basis)
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
