The Contact Lens Technician is primarily responsible for the dispensing, fitting, cleaning, and adjusting of contact lenses for clinic patients and maintaining the contact lens inventory.  The position requires a thorough understanding of ophthalmic terminology and practice, contact lens prescriptions and options, proper patient care, use and proper care of medical instrumentation and knowledge of safety hazards/precautions.  The ability to professionally communicate with patients, physicians and co-workers is critical.  Employee must be capable of taking technical and accurate measurements & conducting detailed testing.  Employee must be energetic and willing to assist in all areas of clinic success.
