Optician

Optician (2yrs+ experience).  Great office, well established.  

We are seeking a great dispensing optician with strong customer service experience. 

Well Established OC Eye Designs Optometry and Woodbridge Optometry are upscale privately owned practices looking for a great optician to join our team.  We offer a great salary, plus bonuses, medical and dental benefits, vacation and sick time as well as a 401K with employer matching contributions (after completing wait periods).

Responsibilities:

· Educating and assisting patients in selecting their eyewear selections
· Taking patient glasses related measurements, presenting and dispensing glasses
· Adjusting and repairing glasses, pre-testing, and communicating with doctors, other team members, and patients

Qualifications:

· 2+ years experience as an optician
· Ability to multi-tasking environment
· Proficient in management software (compulink)
· Outgoing and customer service oriented
· Knowledge of billing for VSP and Eyemed

Duties/ Responsibilities:

· Review doctor's prescription base on medical chart
· Educate patient on prescription and lens options based on their lifestyle needs
· Provide great customer and being a "problem solver" recommending options for patients
· Help manage frame inventory
· Achieve sales goals while attending to patients needs and desires.
· Knowledge of billing for VSP and Eyemed
