Ophthalmic Technician

Our ophthalmology practice is seeking a part-time and full-time back office, ophthalmic technician to join our team! Seeking a motivated, conscientious, energetic and caring individual to complement our excellent staff.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Patient preliminary work-up: taking case history, health history, and visual acuity; performing pupil, motility, and confrontational field test; accurately measuring intraocular pressure (Goldmann applanation tonometry and insertion of dilation drops
• Diagnostic testing: Visual Field, OCT, IOL Master, Corneal Topography, Auto-refractor, Lensometry
• Scribe, prepare and assist with in-office minor and laser procedures•Support back office in various tasks
• Create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for patients

Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Experience in a similar role preferred but willing to train
