Provide in-depth clinical and educational support to practitioners, as well as to sales and marketing teams.
Reports to the Director of Professional Services.
Respond directly to clinical and non-clinical consulting questions from patients, eye care practitioners, laboratories and their related staff.
Assist in the coordination of clinical and professional development programs, plans and actions for the professional services function, including, but not limited to:
Clinical training materials for eye care practitioners, laboratories and their related staff (photos and videos of contact lens fits, manuals, forms, etc.).
Continuing education tools and materials for eye care practitioners, laboratories and staff (presentations, notes, forms, videos).
Support cross-functional team in customer service, sales, marketing, in technical fitting of Paragon contact lenses.
Appropriately certified (required) to fit patients in Paragon contact lenses and provide follow-up care as required.
Develop clinical presentations to eye care practitioners, laboratories and their staff.
Develop clinical training for Company employees.
Attend lab seminars, conventions and other practitioner meetings as required to exhibit, present, and educate.
Develop and implement procedures and systems to manage any certification requirements by FDA or International agencies for the Company’s products.
Interface regularly with multi-discipline eye care professionals, as well as within the company including marketing, customer service, regulatory, and senior management.
Respond to U.S. practitioners’ requests relative to contact lens fitting, professional relations activities.
Provide technical input when reviewing regulated labeling.
Maintain all appropriate documentation and records.
Control expenses accordingly.
Assist in training of new sales, marketing and professional services personnel.
Compose and prepare computer graphics, artwork, and layouts.
Assist with other marketing efforts as time allows (i.e., promotions).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Good knowledge of computer programs including; Word, Excel, Act, and PowerPoint.
Capable of handling multiple projects at the same time and working under pressure.
Freedom for occasional U.S. travel, generally not to exceed 25%.
Membership in at least one professional contact lens organization.
Normal office environment.
Prolonged sitting and using a computer.
Bachelor’s degree in an allied health discipline, marketing, public relations, communications or nursing preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
Four years’ experience in contact lens fitting, consulting, or design.
