The Patient Coordinator provides counseling and screening related to elective surgery procedures (including but not limited to premium lens implants) to patients who have inquired about treatment. In addition, the Coordinator is responsible for meeting and greeting patients, all facets of relationship management programs, clinical outcome data, and discussion and implementation of payment plans.

The Coordinator must be able to facilitate and solve roadblocks to successful program implementation, operation and growth (i.e. scheduling issues, capacity management, communicating to all members of the staff). This includes the ability to interact constructively and tactfully with patients, referral sources, physicians, and staff. Must be a professional who demonstrates leadership, is capable of multi-tasking, and is a problem-solver. Experience with CRM software is required, a strong working knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures would be a plus.
