Horizon Eye Care is a 20 doctor multi-specialty ophthalmology practice with 6 offices across the greater Charlotte, NC area. We provide full service medical and surgical care including routine eye care, retina, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, pediatrics, and cornea/ external disease. We are also the premier destination for optical and contact lens service. Horizon Eye Care is the eye care provider to the Carolina Panthers, Charlotte Bobcats, Charlotte Checkers and the Charlotte Knights. We are currently seeking a stellar Optician to join the superb clinical team at our Charlotte location.

Were looking for an energetic, team-oriented, positive individual who is dedicated to patient care and enjoys working with children and their families.

The essential duties and responsibilities include:

* Ordering, inspecting and dispensing eyewear;
* Assisting patients with frame selection and accurately recording patient transactions.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years optical sales experience
* Ability to travel between local offices

Preferred:
*Minimum of 3 years retail optical experience
*Previous experience working with children
*ABO Certification
