Growing Ophthalmology/Retina practice is seeking enthusiastic and experienced ophthalmic assistats and technicians. We are experiencing tremendous growth and currently have part-time and full-time positions available. We are located in a new state-of-the-art facility with free garage parking and easy access to I-40. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hard working, friendly, and have excellent customer service and patient care skills. We have several satellite office locations in the middle TN area and some travel to these locations is required with reimbursement for gas/mileage provided.

Responsibilities include: Patient workup including vision screening, obtaining history/chief complaint, TonoPen tonometry, pupil assessment, administering eye drops, etc. Detailed chart documentation, basic knowledge of ophthalmic and medical terminology, scribing for physicians and assisting in minor procedure clinics are required as well as performing OCT, fundus photos, and fluorescein angiography (will train).

Applicants must have neat and legible handwriting and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
