Ophthalmic Technician

EyeCare MD of NJ, is a busy, well established Ophthalmology practice seeking an Experienced, Full-time, Ophthalmic Technician.
Job Requirements:
• Promptly and professionally assisting the doctor in patient care.
• Performing technical workups, taking patient medical histories and special testing.
• Entering patient health history into the patients medical record.
• Communicating with patients regarding follow-up care, surgeries, procedures, changes in schedule, symptoms, surgery scheduling, etc.
• Assisting in minor surgery.
Candidate MUST have at least 2 years experience as an Ophthalmic Technician. COT or COA preferred, but not required. Optometric Technicians need not apply.
