We are seeking a part time Surgical coordinator/Ophthalmic technician. Must be personable, outgoing and work well with a team.

This position will require:

Familiarity with scheduling of ophthalmic surgery.
Travel to Kinston, NC office with Dr. Two days a month
Travel to Washington, NC office with Dr. Two days a month
Primary location will be Greenville, NC

Responsibilities will include:
Gathering all Information for scheduling surgery
Ordering Intraocular lenses for Cataract surgery
Completing Surgery center forms
Confirming surgery
Ordering pre operative medications

Secondary responsibilities
Patient workup
Ascan
Keratometry
Calculating Intraocular lens powers
Set up Lasers (YAG and SLT)
