Minnesota Eye Consultants, P.A., the Midwest’s premier eye care group practice, has an immediate opening for a full-time (40 hours/week) Ophthalmic Technician at our Bloomington location.

The qualified candidate will have at least one year of experience and hold current COA, COT or COMT certification. New graduates of Ophthalmic Technology program may apply. Excellent retinoscopy/refractometry skills desired.

Duties include patient histories and workups and comprehensive diagnostic testing including refractometry, tonometry, keratometry, biomicroscopy, A-scans, pachymetry, photography, visual fields, BATs, PAMs, GDX, corneal topography, microscopy and other tests as directed. This position may assist with minor surgical procedures and serve as first assistant in surgery as required.

Candidate must be open to traveling to other metro locations if needed. Travel time and mileage may be reimbursed.
