Prepares and assembles records into standard order; creates records for newly established patients.
• Pulls all patient charts for upcoming office visits in a timely manner and promptly re-files all returned charts in designated area according to applicable alphabetic and numeric filing systems.
• Files results of lab tests and other procedures and dictation to records.
• Operates computer to enter and retrieve data and type correspondence and reports.
• Selects files for movement, transfer and permanent storage.
