Registered Nurse - Director of Nursing for Ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Bala Cynwyd, PA
This is a freestanding ophthalmology-dedicated surgical center with 2 operating rooms and 3 procedure rooms. AAAHC-accredited facility. No weekends, no on-call responsibility, no city wage tax.

In this role, the chosen candidate will be primarily accountable and responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the clinical operations of the Surgery Center. The successful candidate will take responsibility for clinical personnel management, which includes recruitment, selection, training, and supervision, in addition to overseeing the daily pre-operative, Operating Room and post-op staffing and operational processes.

We are in search of a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Requires a current state license as a Registered Nurse, current BCLS and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire date. Must have managerial competency and 2+ years of management experience in an ambulatory surgery center or an operating room in an acute care hospital. Must have a firm understanding of healthcare related documentation, systems, nursing skills and techniques. Ophthalmic experience a plus. Excellent compensation, benefits and 401k plan.
