Katzen Eye Group, with offices in Baltimore & Towson, Maryland, is seeking experienced, energetic ophthalmic technicians to join our growing team. We are an eighteen-doctor, multi-subspecialty ophthalmology and optometry practice as well as leader in electronic medical records implementation.

Ophthalmic Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Initial work up of patients including gathering chief complaint, ocular and systemic history, past family and social history and complete review of systems.
-Measuring visual acuities, intraocular pressures, keratometry, refraction and pachymetry.
-External and slit lamp examination.

The ideal Ophthalmic Technician candidate will:
-Possess two or more years of experience in a clinical setting (less time if on certification track).
-Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Be a well organized, team-player with great attention to detail.
-Demonstrate superior computer skills.
