Riviera Opticare is an Optometry office that serves the Scottsdale and Mesa communities.  Our practice is looking for an outgoing, energetic and efficient Doctor’s Assistant/Technician.  We are looking for individuals with the ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, and excellent people skills.  The ideal candidate is outgoing, friendly, patient, and listens well.  Computer experience is preferred and training will be provided.  

The Ideal Candidate Should Have: 

2+ years of customer service experience
Attention to detail, organized with ability to multi-task
Typing and computer skills a must
Outgoing friendly attitude and a good listener
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
Legible handwriting and ability to accurately record information
Prior healthcare or optometry/ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required 

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):

Checking in/out Patients
Setting Appointments
Insurance Verification and Authorization
Answering Phones
Gathering medical history and personal information from patients
Conducting testing for vision/health exams
Entering patient information and test results into Electronic Health Records
Communicating with doctors, staff and patients

Salary:  Competitive (depending on experience)
