Well established, private optometric practice in Cary is looking for an outstanding, team oriented person to join our patient care team. There is a lot of opportunity for patient interaction across many areas of the office.
This is a dual role! You will primarily be responsible for front desk duties, but some technician duties are required. Our ideal candidate is someone personable and comfortable communicating with people, but also has some technician experience. Main responsibility is facilitating front desk day to day operations of the practice collaborating with staff and providing quality patient care.
Each member of our office staff is cross-trained and assists in more than one area of the practice, as needed. For this position, the primary responsibilities include front desk, patient "checkout," phones, insurance, and other administrative tasks as needed. Secondary responsibilities include optometric technician duties, especially when our primary optometric technician is out of the office. This facet of the position requires experience and interest in performing exam related patient pretesting and contact lens related duties.
Wilingness to be flexible and work where needed each day is essential. Some opportunity to learn other areas of the optometric office. Experience or skills in other areas valuable to this position.
