Fields of Vision Eye Care is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our growing private practice.
Dr. Fields is a 1994 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Optometry and has extensive knowledge in corneal and retinal disease diagnosis and management as well as refractive surgery care. He also specializes in Low Vision services. He opened Fields of Vision Eye Care in 2011, and we have been rapidly growing every year. We are located in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont, serving both rural and urban communities. We offer comprehensive ocular disease management, all forms of contact lens fittings, and integrate nutritional support to our patients for maximal visual performance and health. We have a full service optical with on-site lens processing. We stay current with all technologies including digital refraction systems, corneal wave front analysis, macular pigment density, OCT with Angioview, and Octopus visual field instruments. Our team prides itself on the caring, compassion and commitment to customer service, treating our patients like members of our families.
Our ideal candidate would demonstrate clinical expertise, has excellent communication skills, is caring and detailed oriented. Residency training is preferred, though not required. Responsibilities include examining eyes, diagnosing eye diseases and abnormalities, conducting and evaluating diagnostic testing, counseling patients and other health professionals on eye issues, and communicating with doctors, staff, and patients.
