Patient Care: Provides exceptional patient care by evaluating and testing patients’ condition in accordance with the highest current medical standards.
Practice Growth: Actively participate in practice growth strategies including soliciting patient reviews, encouraging patient referrals, and providing exceptional customer service at all times.
Clinical Supervision: Work in conjunction with the clinical coordinator to ensure clinic flows smoothly and effectively. Provide training and oversight as needed and be available as a positive resource for all clinical staff.
Medical Standards: Ensures appropriate medical quality standards in all aspects of practice services provided to patient.
Referral Relations: Works with surgical consultants to maintain positive and loyal relationships among referring specialists, actively solicits and resolves areas of concern, and provides appropriate training and coordination assistance for referring offices.
Other Duties: Performs other duties and assumes various responsibilities as determined by the medical director.
Qualifications and Education Requirements * Doctorate degree required. O.D.
Valid Texas Optometric License
Preferred Skills * Excellent patient relations skill and bedside manner

Sound clinical judgement
Bilingual - Spanish (not required)
Able to effectively sustain multiple simultaneous tasks.
