About the role:
Your role will be to work alongside Ophthalmologists and our wider team of technicians and nurses to provide integrated eyecare services for our patients. You’ll get to work across all areas of Ophthalmology, so if your chosen field fascinates you, this could be a great chance to be exposed to our wide array of skills and talents. You’ll see patients pre and post op, lead and manage clinics, work with contact lenses trials, participate in research, as well as occasionally assist with other services such as theatre and refractive procedures. In addition, there is the admin, documentation and paperwork that goes along with a busy, quality-focused practice.
As with all patient-facing roles, you have a responsibility to ensure that the care we provide remains at the forefront of our industry.
The main clinic is in Remuera, but you will work across all our locations in Auckland North, West as well. Hours are flexible depending on your commitments .
Obviously, you’ll need have great people skills - that’s essential and of course, you will be genuinely passionate about service and quality of care. You will need to be formally trained and NZ registered with current APC. Some experience working in an Ophthalmology practice would be helpful, but not essential.

We are a growing private Ophthalmology practice, with 15 specialists. Our primary clinic and day stay facility is located in Remuera. We also have two additional hubs in New Lynn and Takapuna, which includes both clinic and surgical services.
