Optometric Technician

Warren Optometric Clinic is THE place for eye care and eye wear in Warren. We are a boutique clinic that prides ourselves on quality and customer service. We've remodeled our beautiful office and are seeking an Optometric Assistant to join our team. Previous medical office experience is required, and optical experience is highly encouraged. The right person will always be eager to learn and adapt along the way. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

-Greet patients and create a positive, welcoming environment

-Scheduling and confirming appointments

-Coordinate communications with patients and manage referrals

-Verify and submits insurance claims

-Maintain and update patient records and perform other clerical tasks in a timely manner

-Prepare examination rooms for each patient

-Assist patients in contact lens training, ordering and scheduling follow-ups

-Maintain organization and tidiness of the equipment and work space

-Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, leadership team and suppliers

-Assist patients in selecting high end eye wear, and adjust glasses as needed to ensure proper fit
