Optometric Technician

We are a private practice Optometry clinics in Dripping Springs needing FULL-TIME optometric technicians. Short commute into the hill country from Austin (no traffic!).

Looking for reliable, fast-learning, customer-service oriented individuals interested in a career in health professions. On the job training available with room for advancement in pay and title as additional skills are acquired. Pleasant personality and good people skills required!

OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN is involved in patient scheduling, preliminary and special testing, front desk tasks, contact lens training, and other tasks as requested by the doctors. 

We are looking for technicians, not opticians. Experience greatly preferred.

Initial hourly wages based on skills, experience, and certifications. Pay increase considered after initial 90 day probationary period depending on skills acquired.

Paid Health insurance benefits and monthly bonuses after initial 90 days of training. Paid time off and retirement benefits for long-term employees. 

Training wages without experience $10-12/hr, starting wages based on skills and experience.
