Well established, private optometric practice in Cary is looking for an outstanding, team oriented person to join our patient care team. There is a lot of opportunity for patient interaction across many areas of the office. This is a dual role! You will primarily be responsible for front desk duties, but some technician duties are required. Our ideal candidate is someone personable and comfortable communicating with people, but also has some technician experience.
Each member of our office staff is cross-trained and assists in more than one area of the practice, as needed. For this position, the primary responsibilities include front desk, patient "checkout," phones, insurance, and other administrative tasks as needed. Secondary responsibilities include optometric technician duties, especially when our primary optometric technician is out of the office. This facet of the position requires experience and interest in performing exam related patient pretesting and contact lens related duties.
Experience in optometry office is required. When responding, in addition to your job experience and education, please list optometric office and EHR software you know how to use. Also, indicate pre-testing instruments you are experienced with.
