Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Description

St. Luke’s, has an opening for a full-time Ophthalmology Assistant at the Mariner Medical Clinic. Under the medical direction of the Ophthalmologist (MD), successful candidate would assist the ophthalmologist by collecting data, administering treatments and performing diagnostic tests. Completion of an approved training program for Ophthalmology Assistant or demonstrated equivalent experience that combines knowledge gained on the job along with independent study as an ophthalmology assistant required. Certification as a Certified Ophthalmology Assistant (COA) preferred.  COT’s are also encouraged to apply. Basic life support (BLS) certification or able to be certified within ninety (90) days of hire.
