Ophthalmic Assistant: Excellent opportunity for an EXPERIENCED ophthalmic assistant/technician. Full time position ( 36 to 40 hours/week) is available at an ophthalmology practice in Smithfield, R.I. Duties include obtaining patient histories, visual acuity/amsler grid/color vision testing, manifest refraction, eyeglass neutralization, applanation/tonopen tonometry, and pupillary dilation. Testing duties also include automated perimetry, fundus photography, OCT, corneal topography, optical biometry ( IOL Master), and autorefraction.
This practice is in a convenient location, directly off Interstate 295 exit 15B in Smithfield. Clean office facility and friendly staff.
