Growing Ophthalmology practice in the upstate (Greenville) is in search of an Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team! Both full and part time positions are available. Willing to train the right individual!
The right person should possess:
Strong patient relationship skills
Effective communication with patients, co-workers, and referring providers
Desire to learn new practices, policies, procedures, and processes
The ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment
Efficient time management skills
An exemplary work ethic
The ability to walk and/or stand for 8hr shifts
Computer and typing skills
The ability to travel to some of our other locations
Direct related Job skills:
Patient work up including Chief Complaint, Ancillary testing and OCT.
Sterile set up and supply management
Fundus photography, Angiogram and/or B-scan skills are a Plus!
1-2yrs working as an Ophthalmic Assistant or an Ophthalmic Assistant certification is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
