We're looking for a certified ophthalmic technician or assistant with excellent interpersonal skills. This will be a full-time position. The individual will be eligible for health care coverage, as well as our 401k plan. At least one year's experience is preferred, though we would be willing to train a new graduate.
Job duties will include performing visual fields, OCTs, corneal topography, and axial length measurements using the IOL Master. Also, the individual would obtain the patient's history as well as initiate the exam, which includes the use of the EPIC refraction system.
The position requires the individual to be comfortable with performing front desk duties as well as a willingness to work as part of an integrated eye care team.
