Growing ophthalmology practice interested in providing career opportunities for qualified ophthalmic technicians. To qualify as an ophthalmic technician with North Georgia Eye Clinic, you will need to have and display skills in general ophthalmology work up including manifest refracting, applanation tonometry, slit lamp skills, pachymetry, etc. You must also be able to perform testing such as OCT scans, fundus photography, IOL Master, Lenstar, corneal topography, keratometry, etc. Effective computer and typing skills are a must. Meaningful use and EHR knowledge are helpful. Most of all, you must be patient centered, career minded, a good communicator both verbally and written, a team player, drama free, and a hard worker to succeed with our practice. Salary is competitive and commiserate with the candidate's experience. Bonuses, paid holidays, and health insurance are available after 90 days of employment. Full time benefits such as 401k, health insurance, paid time off after one year of employment.
