GROWING MULTI-SPECIALTY OPHTHALMOLOGY PRACTICE in Jacksonville Florida interested in providing career opportunities for Certified Ophthalmic Technicians!
To qualify as an ophthalmic technician in our practice you will need to have and display skills in general ophthalmology work-up, including: manifest refraction, applanation tonometry, slit lamp skills, pachymetry, OCT scans, fundus photography, IOL Master, Lenstar, corneal topography, keratometry. Excellent computer and typing skills are a must. Meaningful USE (MIPS) and EHR knowledge helpful.
Most importantly you must be patient centered, career minded, possess a positive and professional attitude, and have strong communication skills. This is a TEAM oriented practice with a focus on quality care. The successful candidate will assist in developing a center of excellence for a state-of-the-art practice. Technicians/assistants play an important role in enabling our surgeons and optometrists to provide high quality care to our patients.
