Ophthalmic Technician needed for our growing practice!

Our growing practice has an opening for a qualified ophthalmic technician who will be responsible for daily patient care and assisting the physician in required in-office procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Documenting patient history and chief complaint, visual acuity and Amsler Grid testing
Performing diagnostic testing such as Optical Coherence Tomography, Fundus Photography and Fluorescein Angiography
Scribes readily when doctor desires and assists in minor in-office procedures
Communicating with patients regarding follow up care, surgeries and procedures
Ophthalmology knowledge with related on-the-job experience required
Familiar with Electronic Medical Records and demonstrates superior computer skills
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be a well-organized, team-player with great attention to detail
Ability to travel occasionally between three offices located in Palm Beach County, Martin County and St. Lucie County

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
