REPORTS TO: Technician Manager
Job Summary: To perform multiple visual function and diagnostic tests as delegated by the physician to allow for proper professional diagnosis of eye conditions. This must be completed in a time efficient manner with a focus on quality care and excellent patient communication skills.
EDUCATION: Minimum of high school diploma or GED or the completion of an accredited Ophthalmic Assisting/Technician program, Knowledge of basic math, Command of the written English language, Demonstrated computer literacy
EXPERIENCE: One year experience in an ophthalmology office. COA preferred.
