Our busy New York practice is seeking an Ophthalmic Photographer who is looking to expand their knowledge, gain valuable experience, and build meaningful relationships. Our ideal candidate is an innovative and motivated individual who enjoys a fast paced work environment.
We have 3 locations in the New York/ Westchester area. Our offices are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, brand new equipment, and modern furniture and decor. We offer the full scope of ophthalmic/ Retina care. Our cutting-edge facilities will make you excited to come to work every day.
Our Ophthalmic Photographers are responsible for providing the highest quality ophthalmic patient care possible. She/he is responsible for performing accurate ophthalmic digital photographs as per the ordering physician. She/he provides superior customer service for the patients.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform ophthalmic photography including fundus photos, red free imaging, deep red imaging, stereoscopic imaging and autofluorescent imaging.
Performs fluorescein angiography.
Perform ICG angiography.
Performs OCT imaging.
Performs photographs for various studies and protocols.
Performs phlebotomy for research studies as needed.
Acquire, mask, label and transmit image to reading centers.
Print images for referring physicians.
Maintains cameras as necessary. Ensure proper cleaning and calibration of photography.

Position available in Manhattan location, with satellite travel in emergency situations
Working knowledge of the eye anatomy, disease, and ocular medications
At least two years of experience as an Ophthalmic Tech/Assistant, with the willingness to learn
Willingness to work towards CRA certification, if not currently certified.
