Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician

Wolfe Eye Clinic is looking for a full-time Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician for our busy Cedar Rapids office. 

Successful candidates must be patient service oriented, possess great communication skills, be a team player and have great attention to detail. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: taking patient medical and ocular histories, performing patient work-ups and diagnostic tests.  The following skills are preferred: Retinoscopy, Manual Refraction, Applanation A-Scan, Manual Keratometry and Tonometry as well as perform OCT and VF testing.

Interested applicants should be ready to work both independently and as a member of a team, accept responsibility for assigned patient care and be able to perform patient work-ups in a friendly and efficient manner. Experience required. Some daytime travel is required.
