Position serves as right hand to the surgeon in the clinic setting. Primary function is patient education however basic ophthalmic testing procedures including, history taking, visual acuity, lensometry, tonometry, motility, visual fields, pupil assessment, refraction, and administering dilation or anesthetic drops will be required. This position may also require calculations and chart preparation for cataract surgery.
• 4 year Bachelor’s degree
• No ophthalmic experience required, will train
• Commuting between office locations required
• Customer service experience preferred
