Ophthalmic Assistant

Arinella-Williams LLC is an Ophthalmology/Optometry practice.  We are searching for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician.  We would consider a skilled Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Pretesting and diagnostic testing 
• refractions
• documentation in EMR
• Stock, clean and maintain room 
• order supplies
• assisting in the front office are when necessary
• other duties as assigned

Skills

Ability to do a basic slit lamp exam,  refract, and use the following equipment

auto refractor, tonometer, visual field, OCT, pachymetry,corneal topographer IOL master and A scan

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

Excellent computer skill

Must be able to speak, read and write English
