Ophthalmic Assistant

Established private practice is seeking a Full-time or Part-time Ophthalmic Technician to join busy multi-specialty ophthalmic practice in CT.   Our office has a wonderful culture, with 4 friendly, down-to-earth doctors.  Primary Eye Care has been established for 30+ years, with a very low turnover of employees. We have three different locations: Bloomfield, Windsor, and Avon.

Certification highly preferred.  Job duties include patient work-ups, visual field and OCT testing, pachymetry, A-scans/IOL master/Manual A-Scans, topography, fundus photography, assisting physicians, scribing, surgical coordinator back-up, and miscellaneous office tasks.  Individual must have ophthalmic experience, be highly motivated, reliable, able to multi-task, willing to travel to different office locations, and be a team player.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
