We are an General Ophthalmic practice with sub specialist in Oculoplastic and Glaucoma, looking for a Scribe/assistant to join our team.
The main role of this position is to provide accurate documentation and summarization of the ocular examination and recommendations, while maintaining patient flow and communication regarding appointment status and patient care plan. In addition, the medical assistant will aid in preparation of preoperative paperwork and other duties as assigned.
Certified Ophthalmic Assistant/Technician, LPN, medical assistant or individual with medical office experience is a must. Prior ophthalmic experience is desired, but not required. We will provide training to a candidate that has the right attitude and a willingness to learn
Job Type: Full time position
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday from 8am - 11am
