Established Multi-Specialty Ophthalmology practice in Burlington is in search of a Medical Receptionist. We are looking for full-time employees who are hardworking, dedicated, professional, outgoing, courteous, approachable, dependable, reliable, and flexible. Strong candidates are team players, able to multi-task, have great attention to detail, and can work in a very fast-paced environment.
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour for the first 30 days. If performance is satisfactory and you are able to demonstrate you can accomplish the responsibilities outlined below, an additional $1.00 per hour will be added, bringing your rate of pay to $14.00 per hour after 30 days.
Answering phones in a pleasant and positive demeanor
Registering patients for appointments and testing
Scanning, copying, faxing, etc.
Verifying patient insurance, referrals and eligibility
Maintaining knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and patient portal
Monday through Friday with one or two Saturdays per month (40 hours per week will remain consistent, but which hours you work will vary)
Non-exempt position, eligible for overtime
We have four office locations (Burlington, Wilmington, Woburn and Arlington)-schedule will vary depending on the location
You must have your own car as travel between locations on any given day is not unusual
