The Duke Eye Center, a leader in Ophthalmology has an opening for a Clinical Operations Manager. We are seeking a certified technician (COT or COMT) to be responsible for coordinating and managing ophthalmic medical personnel, and to perform a variety of duties in order to coordinate the delivery of care to patients on a day-to-day basis. The Clinic Manager will be responsible for staff scheduling, hiring, training, evaluations, templates, budgets, and work assignments. Maintain and ensure that standards of care and quality of services are provided in accordance with JCAHO, OSHA, Fire Safety and Laser Safety. Education: Work requires 2 years post - secondary education, preferably in an allied health field.
COT/COMT certification: Work requires a minimum of 4 years of ophthalmology clinic technical support related experience, of which 2 years must be in a supervisory capacity.
