Licensed Store Managers will need to hold a bachelor’s degree or at least five years optical experience, demonstrate success in managing a team, and hold a state Optician license. In addition, basic computer skills, organizational skills, strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Certification with the American Board of Opticianry is highly preferred. While performing the duties of this job, Licensed Store Managers will need to view a computer screen, talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
