Director of Nursing
Physician-owned Eye Surgery and Laser Clinic, Inc. is seeking a full-time Ophthalmic ASC Nurse Director for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with ophthalmic experience or prior experience in other operating room setting. Should possess excellent interpersonal, communications and computer skills, along with record of effective staff supervision. Responsibilities include: managing clinical activities and resources of the OR, pre and post-operative care, sterile processing and overall patient care activities.
This position also has primary responsibilities for staffing, budgeting and day-to-day operations of the facility to include:
Infection control
Medication management and administration
Financial benchmarking
Physician case schedules
Surgical supplies, equipment and instruments
Facility licensing and accreditation requirements
Focus on quality of care and patient satisfaction
The candidate must facilitate clear lines of communications between surgeons, staff and patients, will act as a circulator at times, and be cross trained to cover any position in the surgery center. Reports to Administrator. Competitive salary and excellent benefits. EOE.
