Charlotte Eye Ear Nose and Throat Associates, PA (CEENTA), the region’s premier eye, ear, nose and throat care provider for adults and pediatric patients for more than 90 years is looking to add to their team. We are currently looking for a Certified Retinal Angiographer or experienced ophthalmic diagnostic professional, the position is Full Time located in South Park (Charlotte NC) but may travel based on patient needs.

Summary of the position:
To assist the physician by providing medical treatment and medical care services to patients by performing diagnostic ophthalmic testing and visual assessments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform assessments using testing equipment to provide accurate results
Educate patient on testing procedure
Follow appropriate research protocols (when appropriate)
Document patient encounters properly in accordance to CEENTA compliance guidelines in electronic medical record software (Epic) in a timely manner
Provide educational and triage information to patient and their families (when appropriate)
Maintain OSHA standards to ensure sterilized and safe environment.
Maintain CEENTA Compliance standards in regards to patient demographics and medical information
Education and/ or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Maintain satisfactory certification as a Retinal Angiographer is preferred, but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
Customer Service and organizational skills, data entry, written and verbal communication skills, maintain positive team oriented attitude with an attention to details.
Ability to follow procedures and processes in accordance to CEENTA standards utilizing: (may vary by specialty and/ or physician)
- A- Scan – Immersion / Contact and Non-Contact
- External photography
- Slit lamp photography
- Topography measurements (tms-4 or pentacam)
- Fundus imaging
- Fundus fluorescein angiography
Certificates and License:
Valid and active certificate from OPS as a Certified Retinal Angiographer
