Associate Optometrist

Associate work week is Tuesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM; the last patient is scheduled at 5 PM with a firm lunch from 1-2 PM every day.

The associate role is simply keeping patients happy by providing thorough care with a smile. The most important thing at For Your Eyes Site is maintaining our positive relationships with our patients via thorough and thoughtful care. We consider our patients family and they feel that connection as we are popular among Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas; we pay attention to detail and the needs of our patients. Our patients are more than a number and their experience starts with a scheduled visit and ends with us exceeding their expectations in every aspect of their visit. As the new associate, your job is to continue these levels of care, professionalism and impressive delivery of examinations.

For Your Eyes Site has electronic health records (OD Link), Marco autorefractor, NCT and an Optos; each patient is pre-tested by a technician. We have three full-time employees, 2 administrative(front desk) and 1 technician and a part-time technician. We maintain a great rapport with the Costco Optical side as well as all associates and managers of the warehouse. Our office flow is so seamless with the optical that patients often believe it is all the same office.

We have two fully equipped exam lanes with Mac large retina display computers to review Optos images in each lane. We have Nidek RT-5100 automated phoropter systems in each lane with newer Marco slit lamps. We also have great relationships with local, general ophthalmologists, glaucoma, retina and oculo-plastic specialists.

The area boasts miles of Atlantic Ocean shoreline while offering a variety of outdoor activities, fine dining, water sports along with multiple higher education schools, including Coastal Carolina University.
