Associate Optometrist

A well-established, progressive private practice is seeking a full or part-time associate optometrist to practice full-scope medical eye care!

The Practice

Our practice is equipped with state-of-the art equipment including OCT, tear film analysis, meibography, scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, retinal photography, wavefront aberrometry, corneal topography, anterior segment imaging, specular microscopy, macular pigment testing, and cloud based EMR. We also have a full service optical lab featuring one-hour service.

The Location

The 2 practices are located in beautiful western Massachusetts along the Connecticut River. We have excellent referral and co-managing relationships with Baystate Medical Center and surrounding local providers. Western MA is the perfect area for anyone desiring a beautiful place to live, work, and play. There are no city crowds or traffic jams. It has a four-season climate and is an outdoor lovers paradise. This area offers great opportunities for exceptional hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, fishing, skiing, and other outdoor activities, as well as plenty of cultural and sporting activities to enjoy. 

Ideal Characteristics and Compensation

We are looking for a talented and personable optometrist with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical eye care, excellent communication skills, and is a team player. Excellence in care and a great work ethic are required. You would build a practice with your personality, care, enthusiasm, and leadership. Residency training is preferred, but not required. 

We offer a generous salary, sign on bonus, performance bonuses, paid vacation, comprehensive health benefits, malpractice insurance, liability insurance, paid continuing education, and a flexible schedule. MA License fees also paid by the practice. We are willing to pay for interview travel expenses as well.
