Do you have extensive optical knowledge and a proven outside sales track record? Do you enjoy collaborating with physicians to sell optical products? We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive for the Boston area for the VSP Optics Group.
In this role, you’ll sell VSP's products by managing existing accounts and developing new prospects consisting of a large variance of industries. You’ll also use your knowledge of VSP's services, products, and marketing techniques to achieve market share growth objectives and operational goals.
The Account Executive for the VSP Optics Group will:
· Cultivate and develop strong business relationships with clients and prospective clients’ executives.
· Educate customers on industry and price trends in order to inform and assist with business decisions.
· Maintain current working knowledge on existing and new products/services and other general information to ensure accurate information is provided.
· Act as a liaison between various VSP departments and customers to ensure service levels and expectations are met.
· Collaborate with marketing and product development to address customer’s needs and analyze market data.
· Utilize sales automation system to make inquiries, maintain records, and prepare reports.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
· Two years or more direct outside sales experience
· Broad knowledge of opthalmic lenses and coatings perferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to develop business to business relationships
· Ability to meet sales/revenue goals with major account responsibility
· Ability to travel up to 60% of the time
· Clean DMV record
· Salesforce experience is plus
