With Vision Expo now behind us, we can finally begin to reflect on this year’s complete eye care event - International Vision Expo East! Thanks to our friends from Vision Expo and The Vision Council, the Local Eye Site Team was able to experience yet another spectacular show in the Big Apple. The Career Café (our themed booth at the show) was a big hit with nearly 400 visitors over the three-day event, and the coffee was flowing all weekend long! The Grand Prize Raffle was a great success as well, with nearly 200 people signing up left and right for their chance to win a Starbucks® Verismo™ Brewing System and a Starbucks® Gourmet Coffee Gift Basket! Our winners (pictured below) were ecstatic to receive these awesome prizes, and we thank everyone who stopped by the booth for their chance at being the winner. Even though you may have not walked away with a prize, we still had a great time getting to know each and every one of you! So, thanks again for stopping by!
In addition to our time spent at the booth, we also attended some exciting events during the evening hours in an effort to meet some additional ECPs and take in a little of what New York City had to offer. On Saturday after the show, we were honored to attend Block Business Group’s 30th Anniversary Cocktail to witness the unveiling of their new name and launch of their Practice Builder’s Program - an initiative that provides Block Business Group Members discounts on services and products that promotes the growth of their practice. And the best part? (besides the free photo booth) Local Eye Site was announced as part of that initiative! This means that Block Business Group members can now enjoy discount job postings on Local Eye Site. Needless to say, we are excited about this new partnership and can’t wait to see how it helps practices grow. Anyway, there seemed to be something going on every night during the show, and we did our best to attend as many events as possible to get the full Vision Expo experience! We can’t wait until next year!
Overall, Vision Expo East was a tremendous success for the Local Eye Site Team. We can’t thank all of you enough for your outstanding support, and we hope to continue to serve you all for many years (and Vision Expos) to come! But for now, we hope to see you all at Vision Expo West in October!
