At Local Eye Site, we really appreciate all of our great employers. Every month, one employer is highlighted as a Featured Employer to give you - the job seeker - a little more insight into the types of employers who are hiring in the eye care industry. Whether it’s a new company looking to hire for the first time, an established employer who’s been around the hiring block once or twice, or a well-known company with ongoing hiring needs - they all have one thing in common: They need quality people like YOU to get the job done! Check back here each month for a new featured employer, but first allow us to introduce this month’s LES featured employer:
A&A Optical is a great company to work with for several reasons. For one, A&A Optical is a company with a strong, family-like environment. Because A&A Optical is family-owned, and since family is engrained in their corporate culture, it’s possible that nearly every employee feels right at home when working at A&A Optical.
Another reason why A&A Optical is a good place to advance your career in eye care is that they focus on teamwork and group success. When asked, A&A Optical had this to say about the teamwork element of their corporate culture: “From day one, you will learn how our organization is supportive of every member of our team. You will instantly recognize that we work hard, we play hard and we love to laugh! We celebrate our successes together as a family, so everyone can learn from one another. Every day is inspiring!”
The third and final reason for why A&A Optical is a great organization to work for is due to this company’s emphasis on serving the community at large. A&A Optical partners with Unite for Sight, a non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. Through this partnership, A&A Optical has contributed over 500 Jalapeños Sol frames to go to those in need in distant countries. An inspiring way to serve the community, and a great organization to get behind in the international fight to eliminate preventable blindness.
