About the Job:
Our company offers a powerful Ophthalmology specific Electronic Health Record for MD, OD and Optical practices. We are in search for an Implementation Specialist for our Optical Module. This module is specifically designed to help manage all aspects of Optical dispensing including Point of Sale, Frame Inventory and Reporting. We work side by side with our clients to configure and customize the program to be most beneficial for their use. The desired candidate would educate each client on configuration and use of the program, during and after implementation.
Deliver/facilitate training on configuration and use of the program online and onsite for new clients.
Offer online support for existing clients to answer questions and resolve issues.
Provide feedback on any client requests for development of new features.
Ability to travel greater than 50% of the time throughout the United States.
System Integration Testing of new releases and client systems prior to training.
Ability to recommend solutions to minimize impact on work flow based on Optical experience and knowledge of program.
Presentation of Optical program to potential clients.
State Optical License or ABO certification with a minimum of 3-5 years of dispensing experience.
Must be able to travel.
Communication skills and ability to build a professional relationship with clients.
Team and goal oriented.
Ability to work independently, once properly trained.
Punctual with excellent work ethic.
Ability to track expenses.
Moderate Windows/PC knowledge.
Experience using Medflow or similar Optical POS programs.
Eyefinity and/or VSP knowledge.
Proficient with the use of Practice Management programs such as Allscripts, Centricity.
