Optician/Sales Associate

Owner and operator of retail optical stores seeking full-time and part-time Optician Sales Associates for the Indianapolis area. This individual will be responsible for successfully performing customer service, sales and operational tasks, as well as positively contributing to an environment that delivers excellent customer care.
Terms:
• Part-time; must be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
• Some travel may be required to support other locations in the area
• Hourly wage plus commission; pay rate based on experience
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or its equivalent
• Experience in an optical retail environment preferred
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet customers on the phone and in person
• Schedule appointments
• Assist customers with product selection, purchases and returns
• Process orders in Point of Sale (POS) Software
• Generate reports
• Provide excellent service and education to customers
Required Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent customer-service, organization, time-management, and interpersonal skills
• Effective retail sales and service skills
• Ability to learn and retain new information
• Comfort using a computer and learning new software
