Medical Ophthalmology Scribe Position
FT or PT medical scribe position available in a busy multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in the East metro area of St Paul, MN. This position involves working one on one with a pediatric ophthalmologist during the patient visit. The scribe duties include, but are not limited to:
Entering data during the patient visit into the EHR (Electronic Health Record). This requires accurate and detailed completion of the EHR record and charge ticket. Excellent computer skills are required as well as accurate spelling and typing skills. Scribes are required to complete an ophthalmology Home Study Course, supplied by our organization. Requires outstanding patient service skills and the ability to provide clear patient education. A medical or health insurance background is a plus but not required.
